Police: Use respect with election signs
The Morris Police Department issued a reminder this week that permission is needed for some placements of campaign and political signs.
According to a Morris Police Department release, permits are not required to place a campaign or political sign on a property, but prior to placing a sign on a property, a landowner, the business owner or manager or tenant occupying the property must grant permission.
