A lesser-known Corn Fest tradition

Talty Chevrolet ‘Fills the Pantry’ for We Care

While local residents were enjoying their fill of corn dogs and pork chops on sticks on Friday, Sept. 28, Talty Chevrolet employees were making sure some of their neighbors had the basics to eat throughout the month of October.

The car dealership donated $650 and provided volunteers to Fill the Pantry for We Care of Grundy County. The volunteers helped unload 4,034 pounds of food that was ordered from Northern Illinois Food Bank and paid for with Talty’s donation.
