The Morris Lions Club helps maintain the Morris Lions City Park, and has provided pavilions for every park in the city that currently has one.

The Morris Lions Club is a volunteer organization dedicated to leadership development through community service, and is part of a world-wide service organization.

Community members wishing to join or learn about Morris Lions Club are encouraged to attend meetings, held the first and third Thursdays at the Eagles’ Hall in Morris, or to contact a member.

Information will also be available at the car show for those wishing to get involved in serving our community.

The 26th annual Fall Classic Car Show will be presented by the Morris Lions Club:

• On Sunday, Oct. 14, beginning  with registration from 7 a.m. to noon. Awards will be presented at 3:30 p.m.

• At the LyondellBasell Recreation Area on U.S. 6, at Tabler Road, five miles east of Morris.

• With a cost of $15 per show car and $5 per spectator.

• In order to benefit the work of the Morris Lions Club and other groups that assist with the show.
