SANDWICH, Ill. — Mrs. Karen Sue Manning, 51, of Sandwich, Ill., died Monday evening, Oct. 8, 2012, at Edward Hospital.

Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, with funeral services following at 3 p.m., with Pastor Jodeen Immer officiating at the Gabel-Dunn Funeral Home, 102 S. Johnson St., Newark. Interment will be at the Plattville Cemetery.

Karen was born Nov. 12, 1960 in Rockford, Ill., to Monty and Nina (Andrews) Wagner. She married Dale Manning on Nov. 17, 1979, at Cross Lutheran Church. She had been a teacher's aide for the Sandwich Grade School and was a caring mother, grandmother and babysitter who loved to garden and cook.
