Cancer memory tree brightens up Grundy County Health Dept.

October is breast cancer awareness month. The Grundy County Health Department has put up a tree in the lobby of the Grundy County Administration building at 1320 Union St. in Morris that will become a ribbon tree.

The health department invites Grundy County residents to come to the administration building to place a ribbon on the tree in memory of a person that has lost their life to cancer, or someone who is battling the disease, or is a cancer survivor.

What is your stance on a proposed 1 percent sales tax to fund local school building projects?

I'm in favor of anything that will help improve school finances
I will support it if it helps to lower my property taxes
I oppose it because I don't believe it will impact property taxes and I will just pay twice
I'm against any additional taxes
I have not heard enough yet to form an opinion
