Diamond man guilty of spitting in officer’s face
A Diamond man was recently found guilty of spitting in the face of a Morris Police Department officer.
On Oct. 1, Nathan J. Lindner, 24, of Diamond, was convicted of an April 12, 2011 Morris Police Department charge of aggravated battery, a Class 2 felony.
Lindner was sentenced to three years of probation and ordered to pay $465 in fees and costs, plus a monthly $20 probation fee.
He was also ordered to serve two days at the Grundy County jail, with credit for one day.
