Morris man sentenced for felony theft charge

Thurmond L. Lurry II, 36, of 515 Douglas St., was convicted of a July 3, 2011 charge of theft, a Class 4 felony.

He was sentenced to one year in the Illinois Department of Corrections with credit for 69 days served, which will be served consecutively with a DuPage County sentence.

Lurry was also ordered to pay $465 in costs and fees.
