Food service courses offered in Grundy County
Health department course provides state certification
The Grundy County Health Department will hold a 15-hour Food Service Sanitation Managers Certification course on Tuesday, Oct. 23, Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct. 25.
The class will cover quick cooling techniques, thermometer calibration, proper hand washing, cooking temperatures, proper refrigeration storage, the study of bacterias and viruses that cause foodborne illnesses, proper sanitization and much more.
