Skyway ramp closed as engineers inspect railroad bridge
(MCT) — Engineers were examining a railroad bridge over the Dan Ryan Expressway this morning amid concerns that a subcontractor may have caused structural damage to the overpass, officials said.
The ramp from the Chicago Skyway to the inbound Ryan has been closed while contractors and officials with the Illinois Department of Transportation inspect the bridge near 65th Street and Wentworth Avenue, officials said.
