Mrs. Janet L. Kopczick, 78, of Morris, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Walnut Grove Healthcare Center with her loving family by her side.

Born July 23, 1934, in Hopedale, Ill., Janet was the daughter of Bryl and Lucille (Butler) Bounds. She received her education in the Mazon schools and graduated from Mazon High School with the class of 1952. She received her degree in nursing from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Kankakee, Ill., in 1958.

Janet married the love of her life and best friend, James P. Kopczick, on Nov. 29, 1958, at Immaculate Conception Church.
