IDES offers Nov. 13 workshop in Morris

JOLIET, Ill. — The Illinois Department of Employment Security will present a workshop focused on their services from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Joliet Junior College Grundy Workforce Services, 1715 N. Division Street in Morris.

This workshop is designed for human resource staff, business owners, managers and anyone responsible for employment services and unemployment insurance processing. 

Topics will include: An overview of IDES business solutions, including resources for employers seeking skilled workers to fill job vacancies; employer protests; and mock adjudication interviews. In addition, a claims adjudicator will be available to answer questions regarding unemployment insurance protest. 

The workshop is at no cost and is sponsored by the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce, Grundy Livingston Kankakee Workforce Board and Joliet Junior College Grundy Workforce Services.
