MINOOKA — The Marching Indians of Minooka Community High School provided another award-winning field show competition performance this past Saturday as they participated in the Mahomet/Seymour High School Marching Band Invitational.

The band earned a second place trophy out of 20 bands, narrowly missing first place by only fractions of a point. In addition, the colorguard earned a second place trophy and percussion earned a fourth-place finish.

This Saturday, Oct. 27, the Marching Indians will conclude their marching season with the Minooka Halloween parade at 2 p.m.

The parade route starts at the Minooka Elementary School and ends at Central Campus.

Earlier this year, the Marching Indians placed third and earned several other awards at the Wheaton North High School Marching Falcon Invitational.
