Deputies take Gardner man into custody for drug possession and obstructing police

Grundy County deputies arrested Timothy D. Grimes, 29, of Gardner, early Wednesday on charges that he possessed drugs and obstructed deputies.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department arrest report, at about 2:05 a.m., Grimes allegedly failed to follow a deputy’s instructions as the deputy was investigating an incident on patrol at 312 W. Main Street in Gardner, attempted to flee and also pushed the deputy.
