Golson returns as Notre Dame’s starting quarterback
(MCT) — SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Everett Golson passed the test that enables him to resume starting quarterback duties. Now comes the biggest test, by far, of his burgeoning Notre Dame career.
Golson went through a strenuous cardiovascular test Monday without triggering any post-concussion symptoms, so the sophomore will take the reins of the Irish offense in a momentous game Saturday at BCS No. 8 Oklahoma.
