Morris man found guilty of hitting person in head with hammer
Peter R. Kooyenga, 54, of Morris, was found guilty of a March 6 charge of aggravated battery, a Class 3 felony for striking a man in the head with a hammer.
He was sentenced to 30 months of probation and ordered to pay $465 in fees and costs, plus a monthly $20 probation fee.
