Free agent decisions start for Sox
(MCT) ‚ The free agent filing period starts Monday at 8 a.m., and the Chicago White Sox will be heavily influenced.
Catcher A.J. Pierzynski, a member of the Sox since their 2005 World Series team, heads a list of Sox players who automatically become free agents. Left-hander Francisco Liriano, outfielder Dewayne Wise, infielder Jose Lopez and reliever Brian Bruney also can become free agents Monday.
