Morris man allegedly threatened females with aluminum bat

A Morris man was arrested by Morris police Saturday after he allegedly threatened three females while armed with an aluminum bat.

According to the Morris Police Department report, the incident reportedly occurred Thursday, Oct. 25 at Walgreen’s, in the 100 block of W. U.S. 6, when Daniel Wissmiller, 21, of 11510 Middle Road, allegedly armed with the bat, confronted the three after a driving incident.

The three told police Wissmiller threatened them with bodily harm after they tried to get his plate information. Wissmiller was taken into custody just after 11 p.m. Saturday at Wendy’s, at 1926 N. Division Street,  and charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

Wissmiller posted $150 bond and was released from custody.
