Fisher finds her forte behind the microphone
Minooka grad singing her way to music success
Alexandra Fisher had never sung in front of a crowd until her sophomore year at Illinois State University.
She got a guitar in kindergarten, but didn’t really pick it up until she was a teenager, and she loved to sing. She had been a percussion member of the marching band from fifth grade through her high school years at Minooka Community High School, where she graduated from in 2009, but that was it.
