WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mrs. Loretta Walters, 80, a lifelong resident of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Born Sept. 9, 1932, in Chicago, Loretta was a daughter of the late James and Lillian Bart-Setneska. Loretta married Dwight Walters on April 1, 1960, and he preceded her in death in 2001. Mrs. Walters worked mainly as a homemaker.
Survivors include three sons, Richard (Lyn) Lade of Manteno, Ill., Dwight Walters Jr. of Morris and Mike Walters of Mountainair, N.M.; one brother, James (Betty) Setneska of Selma, N.C.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dwight Walters Sr.; one son, Dale James Lade; one grandson, Timothy Francis Lade; one granddaughter-in-law, Christina Lade; and three great-grandchildren, Bridget Perry, Josh Perry and Jacob Francis Lade.
Private family visitation and funeral services will be held at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington. Deacon Don Dyer will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at Bohemian National Cemetery in Braidwood.
