Woman says wire to brakes was cut while parked at Newark school
A North Aurora woman told police an unidentified person cut a wire to her vehicle’s anti-lock brakes while it was parked at Newark High School.
According to the Kendall County Sheriff’s report, the woman reported the incident to deputies at about 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, but said the incident took place at the school, which is located at 413 Chicago Road in Newark, sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
