Women’s auxiliary to honor soldiers’ parents

Appreciation meal to be held Nov. 11

NEWARK — The Women’s Auxiliary of the Newark American Legion will hold an appreciation dinner for local parents who have a son or daughter currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

This dinner will have a keynote speaker, and they will distribute Blue Star Banners.

This appreciation dinner is in conjunction with the Veterans Day Dinner.

The dinner will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at Newark American Legion, 606 Fennel Road, Newark.
