Coal City man pleads guilty to DUI charge

Greg Maierhofer, 28, of Coal City, pleaded guilty to a Nov. 20, 2011 Coal City Police Department charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

He was sentenced to two years of court supervision and ordered to pay $1,085 in fines and costs and to attend a victim’s impact panel and counseling.

He was also ordered against operating a vehicle not equipped with a breath alcohol ignition interlock device.

Additional charges of operating a non-highway vehicle on streets, roads or highways, disregarding a signal to stop and driving with a suspended license were dismissed against Maierhofer.
