Newark Fire Dept. to hold country breakfast

NEWARK — The Newark Fire Department is holding a country breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 18, at the Newark Fire Barn, located at the corner of Main and Jackson streets in Newark.

Food will be served from 7 a.m. to noon.

Along with all the breakfast favorites — pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage, biscuits and gravy — will be a silent auction and a holiday turkey raffle.

Prices are $7 for adults and $4 for children 8 and under.

Proceeds from this fund-raiser will be used for the purchase of fire-fighting equipment for the department.
