Anna Marie Corsiatti

COAL CITY, Ill. — Mrs. Anna Marie Corsiatti, 91, of Coal City, Ill., passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 11, 2012, at Walnut Grove in Morris.

Born March 8, 1921, in Milks Grove Township, Iroquois County, Illinois, Anna was a daughter of the late James and Dorthea Gudenrath-Ohrt. She was raised in Limestone Township, Kankakee County. On Aug. 30, 1941, Anna married James Corsiatti in Saint Charles, Mo.

Anna held employment with the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant; Roper Stove Company in Kankakee; and, most recently, Coal City High School, from where she retired as a cook in the cafeteria. She loved playing cards and was involved with various card clubs locally. Anna was a great cook, enjoyed traveling, and will be remembered for her time spent with her grandchildren.
