Braidwood Station completes Unit 2 refueling outage
BRACEVILLE, Ill. — Operators returned Braidwood Generating Station Unit 2 to full power last night following the completion of the unit’s 16th refueling outage on Thursday, Nov. 8.
During the 24-day outage, Exelon employees and supplemental workers performed more than 13,000 activities, including equipment upgrades, safety inspections, tests and plant improvements. The unit began its scheduled refueling outage Monday, Oct. 15.
