Lawn mower reported stolen along Main Street

Morris police are investigating a theft that took place in the 400 block of W. Main Street Friday.

According to the Morris Police Department report, at about 11:20 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, police responded to the area of W. Main Street and Nettle Street. A lawn care business employee told police that while workers were conducting yard maintenance in the area, an unidentified suspect stole a red and silver commercial-grade Honda HRC 216 push lawn mower.

The mower was reportedly left unattended near the roadway. Anyone with information in the case is encouraged to call (815) 942-2131.
