Born Dec. 23, 1927, in Forrest, Ill., Phyllis was the daughter of Roy L. and Edith M. (Christoff) Wenger. She graduated from Forrest High School. In 1956, she married John F. Doran. He preceded her in death in 1959 at the age of 39.

She also served for several years as a Grundy County Election Judge for Goodfarm Township.

Most of all, though, she loved her daughters, Kathy and Sheila. They lived and laughed and loved together, and she will be greatly missed. Her daughters loved her more then anything.

Wenger of Van Buren, Ark.; sister-in-law, Mildred Doran of Dwight; brother-in-law, Marvin H. Maurer of Naperville, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
