Shirley S. Anderson
LISBON, Ill. — Mrs. Shirley S. Anderson, 78, of rural Lisbon, Ill., passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 15, 2012, at Morris Hospital.
Born Aug. 14, 1934, in Waterman, Ill., Shirley was the daughter of Harvey and Amy (Thornson) Kirkhus. She graduated from Leland High School with the class of 1952 and received her bachelor's degree in music from Northern Illinois University.
Shirley married Rolf Anderson on July 7, 1956, in Leland. For all of their married life, they farmed in the Lisbon area.
