JOLIET — The Indians won the non-conference match behind a 726 series by Kyle Kurtz. Three others shot in the 600s in Duggins (655), Nick Beeler (648) and Kauffman (639).

In the JV match, Minooka won 2,837-2,726 with Dylan Pickett leading the team with a 636.

COAL CITY — The Warriors were led by 7 points from Cal Smolik while Jake Brnca, Junior Arias and Christian Johnson had 6 each.

Coal City (3-3) defeated Mazon-Verona-Kinsman 36-10 at the seventh-grade level behind 6 points from Brett Blecha.

MINOOKA — Jalen Jones had 29 points in the win and Antonio Milazzo 18 for the Indians.

In the seventh grade game, Minooka won 44-39.

WILMINGTON — The Indians finished second place in their division and third out of the 15 teams at Wilmington in a recent invitational.
