Woman pleads guilty to forgery, burglary

Alexis E. Camacho, 19, of 949 Armstrong #3, pleaded guilty to two Feb. 2 counts of forgery, a Class 3 felony, for writing checks in another woman’s name.

She was sentenced to 30 months of probation and ordered to pay $465 in fees and costs, as well as $1,035.94 for restitution. She was also ordered to serve 10 days at the Grundy County jail, with credit for five days served.

In a second case, Camacho pleaded guilty to a July 26 charge of burglary, a Class 2 felony, for entering a motor vehicle to commit a theft.

She was sentenced to four years of probation and ordered to pay $465 in fees and costs, plus a monthly $20 probation fee and $324.58 in restitution.

She was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service work and serve 86 days at the Grundy County jail, with credit for 43 days.
