(MCT) — A Chicago woman was drunk when she skidded her SUV to a stop on the Borman Expressway late Saturday to avoid hitting police and fire vehicles, then drove onto and off the side of a tow truck, police said today.

Neither Ayesha M. Crawford, 32, nor the three children ages 5, 6 and 10, who were in her black 2008 GMC Yukon with her, were injured in the accident just before 11 p.m. on Interstate 80 near Interstate 65, according to a release from Indiana State Police. Crawford is being held in the Lake County, Ind., jail, on several drunken-driving related charges.
