• Grundy County deputies arrested Matthew K. Hill, 20, of Coal City, for possession of a controlled substance, bringing contraband into a penal institution, unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle and a Will County warrant at Reed Road and Berta Road, Coal City, Saturday, Nov. 17. He was held at the Grundy County jail pending a bond hearing. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid license.

• Grundy County deputies arrested Caitlin M. Ortiz, 18, of Romeoville, for driving under the influence of drugs at Stellon Street and Daley Street, Diamond. She was held on $300 bond. She was also cited for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and improper display of license plates.

• John F. Chandler, 63, of Diamond, was arrested by Grundy County deputies for failure to appear for driving under the influence, failure to appear for driving with a suspended license and driving with a suspended license at 6 Arlington Drive and Balmoral Drive, Diamond. He was held on $1,200 bond total. He was also cited for disregarding a stop sign abd no proof of valid insurance.

• Grundy County deputies cited Kyleigh J. Cain, 20, of 1065 U.S. 6, for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and possession of drug equipment at 1926 N. Division Street, Morris, Thursday, Nov. 15.

• Grundy County deputies cited Noah M. Perry, 26, of 917 E. North Street, for possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and possession of drug equipment at 1999 S. Verona Road and W. Waupecan Road, Verona, Friday, Nov. 16.

• Grundy County deputies arrested Kenneth G. Davis, 44, for a Grundy County warrant for failure to appear for domestic battery. He was released on a $5,000 personal recognizance bond.

• Grundy County deputies arrested Luis Loza-Lopez, 32, of Morris, for a Grundy County warrant for failure to appear for domestic battery. He posted $500 bond and was released from custody.
