Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers has set its schedule of free diabetes education programs for December. All of the December diabetes education program will be held at Morris Hospital, 150 W. High St., Morris.

The Carb Counting Class will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec.  6. This month’s focus is basic carb counting, with a focus on reading labels and counting carbohydrates. This class is recommended for insulin dependent diabetics and those who want to address the fat, sodium and fiber components of the food label.
