Health Dept. can help in Medicare D decision
Open enrollment to compare, enroll or to switch Medicare D plans is offered through Friday, Dec. 7, according to the Grundy County Health Department. This is especially important for those who lost their IL Cares Rx benefits on July 1, 2012.
IL Cares Rx worked with four different Medicare D plans in which three will carry a deductible beginning on Jan. 1, 2013. The maximum deductible for the year of 2013 is $325.
