Kindelspire resentenced for violating terms of sex abuse conviction

Brandon T. Kindelspire, 23, of Thompsonville, Ill., was resentenced to four years of probation for violating the terms of probation in a 2008 conviction for aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony.

Kindelspire was ordered to pay $400 in costs and fees plus a $20 a month probation fee, as well as to register as a sex offender and obtain sex offender treatment.

Kindelspire was also convicted on two April and January 2010 counts of failure to register as a sex offender, a Class 3 felony, and three November 2010 counts of deceptive practice, a Class 4 felony. 

In the case of failure to register, he was sentenced to 30 months of conditional discharge, ordered to pay $455, and ordered to serve 180 days with credit for 135 days served. In the deceptive practice case, he was sentenced to 30 months of conditional discharge, ordered to pay $455 and ordered to pay $4,146.68 in restitution.
