PERU, Ill. — The season of giving and goodwill starts at Peru Mall.

The shopping center is partnering with the Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots and with United Way to ensure a joyous holiday season for children and for families in need.

Tons of toys are needed to help make the holidays happy for local children.  Peru Mall is an official drop-off site for Toys for Tots, accepting new, unwrapped through Saturday, Dec. 22. Generous donors can drop off unwrapped gifts in special donation boxes located near the Armed Forces Career Center and in center court.

The mission of the Toys for Tots program is to collect and distribute toys to needy children.
