About $2,000 in steel was reported stolen from Newark building

Kendall County deputies are investigating the theft of steel from a Newark building, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.

According to the report, at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, deputies responded to Fox Ridge Farms, located at 15053 Fennel Road in Newark, where it was reported that about $2,000 in steel was taken from a storage building.

According to the report, the theft took place sometime between Friday, Nov. 23 and Tuesday, Nov. 27.
