Kim Brown, branch manager of Morris Building & Loan, passes the check for $1,025 to some of the members of the Morris Quarterback Club.

Morris Building & Loan presented the Morris Redskins football team and the Morris High School Quarterback Club with a check in the amount of $1,025.

This check was the result of touchdowns scored at each of the Morris Redskins home football games. Morris Building & Loan committed to pay the Quarterback Club $25 for each of the Morris Redskins’ touchdowns during a home game.

“We started this tradition a few years ago — and we are glad we did it again,” said Kim Brown, branch manager of Morris Building & Loan. “Last year, we donated $750, and I challenged them to hit $1,000 or 40 touchdowns, and they exceeded that goal.

“They had an amazing season and the Bank, as well as the community, is so proud of their hard work and effort. We look forward to partnering with them again in the 2013 season.”
