Cleo was a 1949 graduate of Gardner-South Wilmington High School and, thereafter, married Marvin Joseph Gagliardo in Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Dwight.

She held a position as an AVON representative and also supported and assisted her husband, Marvin, with M. Gagliardo Painting and Decorating. Cleo was a woman of fashion, who enjoyed shopping and appreciated music. She and Marvin greatly enjoyed dancing, and Cleo accompanied Marvin to his military service reunions, where she established and maintained many friendships.

In the past years, Cleo took pleasure in bike riding; cooking for others, especially her grandchildren; and playing euchre. She will be remembered for being truly devoted to her family; she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra (Henry) Condotti of Shorewood, Ill., and Patricia (Scott) Davis of Neenah, Wis.; five grandchildren, Ashley Condotti of Lisle, Ill., Nicholas Condotti of Shorewood, Sarah Davis of Chicago, Seth Davis of Neenah, Wis., and Christopher Condotti of South Barrington, Ill.; sister-in-law Dolores (the late Leslie) Hertenstein of Coal City; and two nieces, Susan Boresi of Coal City and Sherrie Taylor of Morris, Ill.

Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin, on June 17, 2011; a brother-in-law, Maynard (Patti) Gagliardo; and one great-niece, Gina Boresi.

Visitation and video tribute will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee St., Coal City, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the Rev. Robert Noesen officiating. Burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery, where Cleo will be laid to rest with her husband, Marvin.
