Livingston County economic development council names new CEO
PONTIAC – The Executive Committee of the Greater Livingston County Economic Development Council hired Adam L. Dontz as its chief executive officer.
Dontz served as the interim CEO of the GLCEDC from Sept. 5, 2012, until the GLCEDC Executive Committee approved a two-year contract with him at its monthly meeting in November.
David T. Ochs, chairman of the GLCEDC stated, “The committee feels Mr. Dontz possesses a unique combination of public and private sector experiences that will capably serve the GLCEDC. We look forward to working with him.”
Previously, Dontz worked in the suburban Chicago real estate development industry, where he served as vice president of acquisition and government relations for a locally based and family owned development company. In that role he managed a real estate portfolio over 1,000 building sites, creating communities yielding approximately $450,000,000 of housing value upon completion.
