Mrs. Mabel I. "Mae" (Hibner) Brockett, 80, of Morris, Ill., passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at the Morris Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.

Born Nov. 11, 1932, in Elwood, Ill., to the late Francis Kurtz Hibner and Ruth Hazel Christensen, Mae married Kenneth M. Brockett on Dec. 21, 1952, in Joliet, Ill. He preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2007.

Mae is survived by her children, Kenneth A. (Vicky) Brockett, Kathleen (the Rev. David) Cunsolo, Ronald (Linda) Brockett, Robert (Jeri) Brockett, Christopher (Cathy) Brockett, Lori (Steven) Thomas, James (Mary) Brockett, and Jennifer (Douglas) Maier. She was the proud grandmother of 18, and great-grandmother of many. She is also survived by sisters Millie Garland and Ida Canaday, as well as many nieces and nephews.
