Mr. Thomas A. "Tom" Benson, 62, of rural Morris, Ill., passed away peacefully with his loving family by his bedside early Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, 2012, in his home.

Born March 31, 1950, in Morris, he was the son of Adelbert and Evelyn Wills Benson. He received his education in the Morris schools and graduated from Morris Community High School with the Class of 1968. He graduated from Joliet Junior College with an associate degree in Agriculture.

Tom married Susan J. "Sue" Chouinard on Feb. 27, 1970, in Immaculate Conception Church in Morris.
