Festival of wreaths

The second annual “Festival of Wreaths” fundraiser hosted by Heritage Woods of Ottawa more than doubled its income from the inaugural event. The result led to a $1,280 donation to the Care-A-Van Program at OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, Ill.

Heritage Woods representatives Deb Pusateri, director of marketing and sales, and Peggy Morgan, administrator, were pleased that the number of wreaths sponsored and decorated by local businesses also increased to 36 this year.

The open house event featured a silent auction allowing visitors to place bids on the wreath of their choosing.
