SENECA, Ill. — Mrs. Doris E. Shelton, 79, of Seneca, Ill., passed away Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, at her home.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home, 1009 E. Bluff St., Marseilles, Ill. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carolyn Lukasick of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Born Jan. 24, 1933, in Marseilles to Guyer and Ione (Nelson) Thompson, she married Thomas Shelton of Marseilles in 1953. He preceded her in death in October 2012.
