MARSEILLES, Ill. — Mrs. Mary Isabel Erickson, 83, of Marseilles, Ill., passed away at 8:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at home with her loving family at her side.

Born Jan. 16, 1929, in Potomac, Ill., Mary was the daughter of Cornelius and Vara (Camp) Baker. She married the love of her life, Carl Erickson, on Nov. 5, 1948. They just shared their 64th wedding anniversary.

Mary loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed singing in the choir, playing in the spoon band, sewing, crafts, homemaking and reading. She collected antique vases and bells from around the world.
