WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mrs. Edythe “Edie” Johnson, 89, Wilmington, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Ill.

Born Sept. 20, 1923, in Custer Park, Ill., Edythe was the daughter of the late Elroy R. and Esther C. (Weiske) Clemans.

Edie was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wilmington. She was very active in the United Methodist Women and Mary Ruth Circle, where she was the former officer of both clubs. She was past-president of the Will County Club League from 1970-1972.
