Committee considers designs for park

New park planned for Deer Ridge subdivision

The Morris Parks and Annexation Committee is looking at tentative proposals for a new park in Deer Ridge subdivision.

City Engineer Guy Christensen of Chamlin & Associates presented two proposals to the committee to study. No action was taken at Thursday's meeting.

In November 2011, Deer Ridge subdivision developers came before the committee requesting a park be developed on the land it dedicated to the city when the subdivision was originally platted.
