Snow in the forecast for Central Illinois
(MCT) — BLOOMINGTON — A storm system that could bring an inch of snow to the area late this afternoon could have an effect on New Year’s Eve travel.
Ed Shimon, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Lincoln, said a small band of snow will pass through the Central Illinois area late Monday afternoon, but it is not likely to create too many problems for travelers.
