Mrs. Robert (Geraldine L. “Gerry“) Ramsey, 84, of Morris, Ill., passed away peacefully with her loving family at her bedside Sunday afternoon, Dec. 30, 2012, in Pleasant View Luther Home in Ottawa, Ill.

Born Jan. 13, 1928, in Pontiac, Ill., the daughter of William P. and Mabel McCaskey Campbell, Gerry married the love of her life, Robert W. “Bob“ Ramsey on Dec. 16, 1944, in the Presbyterian Church in Pontiac, Ill.

She was very active in her children’s lives. She served  as a Cub Scout leader. She volunteered her time and services with the Morrris Hospital Auxiliary, was a former member of the Women of the Moose Lodge # 544 in Morris, and lifetime member of the Grundy County Rod & Gun Club.
