Florence R. Palermo
WILMINGTON, Ill. — Mrs. Florence R. Palermo, 98, of Wilmington, Ill., passed away Friday evening, Jan. 4, 2013, at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.
Born June 26, 1914, in Chicago, Florence was a daughter of the late Peter and Marion Marino-Clemente. She was raised and educated in Chicago and later owned and operated Flo’s Wilmington Inn, as well as the Clover Farm Grocery Store in Northcrest.
Florence was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington.
